That looks absolutely real James. You are a master at this IMHO.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Thanks Gino, sounds like an easy enough modification.

No provision in the kit for right-hand drive. You could cut apart the dash board and reassemble it in right-hand drive configuration though.

That's beautiful work James, nice model and the dust and weathering looks perfect!
One question though, does the kit include an option to build it with right hand steering or could it be converted? I thought about picking one up to build just as a regular civilian vehicle to use in a dio with a modern Japanese MBT.
Very nice, wear and tear just right.
Thanks guys, interesting grill I'll check into that for future builds! Although looking at it I think drilling six holes in the right places will make the Toyota logo
For the chrome I use Alclad

Looks awesome. Great job on it Have you seen the resin replacement grill that comes w/the Toyota logo on it?
It is pretty nice and dresses it up nicely. I have one for mine and reviewed it here: http://armorama.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Reviews&file=index&req=showcontent&id=8329
thanks, its a great kit, I will get another one but will shop around for a cheaper price.
Very well done! Exceptionally realistic finish! How did you like the kit?
