Tamiya's venerable Sd.Kfz 7/1 kit with Eduard photo etch.
On the bench, build pretty much done and ready to start painting..
This will be a diorama partner for my Tiger in my other recent thread.

Thanks for posting the pic Shaun. Check your references -- I'm pretty sure the folded over windscreen should be horizontal, not tilting lower than horizontal.

Thanks. The windscreen is not fixed yet as it has to come off for painting. I will in the light of your post take the time to make sure it is finally positioned correctly

Wow that old kit actually builds up pretty nicely! Good call on the Eduard PE--even though I hate PE! It looks really good so far!
Basic painting and initial dirt on the truck..
Mostly complete now.. this will be moving in to a new thread in the dio forum along with my recent Tiger.
scratchbuilt a new gunsight to replace the horrible tamiya attempt (the one in the eduard etch was even worse)
And the final product next to its diorama buddy. Thread in Dio forum will be incoming!
