Has anyone tackled the Caterpillar D7 tractor by Mirror Models or Miniart yet? Currently there appear to be a plain tractor and a cable lift bulldozer available from Mirror Models and a tractor with a large towing winch available from Miniart. There also are two armored tractors, two variations of the bulldozer and a tractor with a front mounted winch soon to be released. The two companies (if they are separate companies) appear to share the dies for the tractor as the pictures show identical sprues.
I got the Miniart tractor with towing winch and have only had a chance to open the box. The detail is fantastic with much of it hidden when the tractor is assembled. As an example there are 288 parts in the tracks alone.
I would like to hear the thoughts of anyone who has put one of these gems together.
