Fehrmann Tiger, missing sprue C
Posted by Sackgasse on Monday, May 25, 2015 9:39 AM

I got ths kit from ebay at a good price - so it seemed, but the former owner has started to build the kit and the turret is assembled.
I am missing a complete sprue C to have an OOB kit.
Should I contact Dragon or can anyone here support,
PayPal or international Bank Transfer covering agreed price and postage to Sweden OK.

Zack, definitely contact the guy you bought it from. This constitutes a violation of ebay seller policy. If he didn't disclose that the entire sprue was missing, you should be able to get your money back by filing a complaint with ebay.

Even if he said something like "Sold as is", this is still an incomplete sale and I would file a claim with ebay. They have an arbiter's board who will look at the sale and make a fair decision.

And you might also find that the seller still has the sprue and just for some reason didn't realize it was out of the box, IN any case, your first move should be to contact the seller.

Great, glad to hear it! I have had a few missteps like that on eBay, and usually have no problem getting it resolved.  People make mistakes, that's life.

Been the dummy a few times too. I really need to check my boxes before I sell to make sure things aren't started or missing parts. A lot of times I"ll sell old kits that I bought intending to build, but never got to them. Then I sell them and don't realize that the builder before me who sold them started them already until the guy complains. I've had to give a few free shipments to make up for it. I curse myself every time!
