Allan, it is a bad feeling indeed! And I tend to have a hair trigger temper. When tripped, 0 to 60 in an instant! Much slower to reset though... Lol!
Bish, that really sucks! I'm glad to hear it was not too bad. I drive like an 80 year old grandma when I am transporting a build to clubs... and I have learned to package and place them more protectively for transport. Can't fall to the floorboard if they are already there! And no loose objects over them either to fall on them...

U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!
N is for NO SURVIVORS...

Like new! I've had my share of completed kits flying off/crashing. That split-second between you losing your grasp and the kit hitting the ground ... Terribly sinking feeling.
No bucks, no Buck Rogers
Thankfully, a very easy recovery.
While working on another project today, I mixed up enough Black to take care of the dings on this one. Yesterday you saw them...
now you dont!
Thank you Tojo. I hope that you keep on watching...
I seemed to have missed this one, interesting build and a great job on the camo.
BishI think you got off lightly there. But that chipping on the front does look rather nice. Though I would not suggest this as a means of weathering.
Agreed on both counts...
Karl, I do like to thinkof myself as a useful contributor at this place... even if I do gripe about some things...
GM, that would have been real ugly real fast I imagine...
well here are my damage report photos...
worst hit, left rear upper corner
lighter damage, left front upper area
and an overall view
some of the bottom got scraped up too, but hey, it's the bottom... it looked worse on impact as all the tacked on doors went flying off, but thankfully, non of the glued on parts broke off...
Guy I worked with put an architectural model on the roof of his car, opened the door, got in drove off. major disaster.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
Nice work whipping this into shape, Carlos! And thanks for featuring it here on the Armor forum!
Damn gravity. Worst invention ever if you ask me.
BishYep, done that, usually when I am going out the shed for a paint session.
I had that happen at my old house several times. I built in my work room and did painting in the garage. There was no interior connection in the house to the garage, so I had to use some side doors to transfer kits from one to the other. And that narrow side yard just happened to run in the same direction as the prevailing winds, and act as a wind tunnel of sorts. On more than one occasion I got to see aerodynamic lift of certain designs demonstrated when a particularly strong gust would blow and the aircraft would rise out of its' transport box, acheive momentary flight, and then stall when gravity overcame lift...
Bish Woundered where this had good, she looks nice carlos. But i have to ask, why was it on your drive. It does not even have any wheels on it. Or perhaps it did. You didn't happen to find it propped up on bricks did you

Well I was taking it to IPMS meeting last night and trying to load it into my car.... being stubborn I did not put the box down prior to opening the door and while doing that, the build got knocked out of the box to the concrete below... fortunately no major damage... save perhaps to my neighbors' ears as I let out a stream of bad words as it fell and until I examined the results...
Thanks RB.
A week or so ago I was able to do the touch up work on the camo on this project
and then the other day I airbrushed on the Future coat to get it ready for decals
unfortunately yesterday evening there was an accident where this fell to the driveway and took a ding on one corner so I need to touch that up before I proceed...
Very nice camo, really looks the part regardless of the sheen.
Apprentice rivet counter.
Thank you Karl.
That's a nice camo job, Carlos!
That sounds like an exercise in masking... The big ones would be easy, but the little ones... Yuck!
You should give painting the crosses a shot.
Masks?! We don't need no stinking masks!;)
Thanks guys.
Fantastic work on camo. Really tight!
Whaaatttt??? Freehand??? You go, Carlos!!! Looks great!
