According to the instructions, its a vehicle of the Royal green jackets. I would like to build the one I drove for 6 years, but that was a 511 command vehicle and unfortunately I have lost any photo's I had of it.

Thanks.

Hey BIsh is she a representation of one of the Warriors you served on or just a generic one? In any case really nice work there!

Thanks guys.

Karl, I rather liked that knot as well. That was pure chance as I just happened to cut it there and the it didn't show up much until I stained it.

Eric, I know what you mean. The photo's don't help much, it does show through in the flesh. It can be tricky trying to get a realistic finish and not make everything vanish at the same time.

Good idea friend, trying something a little simpler then a 1/35 Dragon kit to relax. Maybe I should embrace that idea. LOL Nicely done, but I would have liked to have seen more of the camo. The weathering kind of muted it.

Nice looking model and presentation. The base is interesting. I like how you left the knot in the wood there...

Thanks wayne. No, its wire mesh on the real thing, possible the only let down on this. I might have been able to cut it out and replace it, but I just wanted a nice fun relaxing build. Its link and length track which was a bit awkward as the top length was a bit to long. But the track guards help hide that.

That's exactly what this kit was, and the personal linked helped make it more enjoyable. One day I will get this guy a big brother, but I will go all out on that as I want to do a 511 command version.

cool. is the bustle wire mesh or solid on the real one? is it rubberband track or length and link?

sometimes you need a nice OTS build just to go back to some basics, not spend a lot of time, and get a good finished product. though the revel BdW trucks and the FUCHS are almost as complicated as the 1/35 ones.

I have been working on this here and there for a couple of months. This is another kit from  my partner a couple of months ago. She thought I would like it as I used to drive warriors.

It was built OOB, a pretty nice kit that went together well. Pretty well detailed and no accuracy issues that I could make out. I painted it with Tamiya acrylics mixing together my own green. Weathered with some AK enamels and MiG pigments.

Thanks for looking.
