and maybe
3. my tarps made with tissue paper.

It came out looking great and very realistic.  I have seen a T-72 brew-up in real life and you captured it perfectly.

I'm done! This was a nice kit, although I have no idea of its accuracy.

So introducing the Iraqi T-72 M1 Lion of Babylon. The scene is during the Iraqi retreat on the Ramallah oil field road. This T-72, while trying to get off the road, was hit and just brewed-up, prior to the turret removing itself. I don't know if this is plausible or not, but I wanted to mainly experiment with simulating fire.

I do have the M-60A2 video and yeah, you can discount that one lol. There were a ton of comments on that one and most of them point out all of the flaws in the video. I'm not sure where the autor found his information for the "Starship" lol.

I finally finished the build, I just want to find the proper backdrop for a full impact picture.

than i made the mistake of watching the M60A2 video. it was full of errors. if you watch it make sure you read the comments to get the responses from actual A2 crew members. BTW i did pick up the Academy kit and it looks good though no interior.

Sure, how high?   Actually I was thinking of doing a YouTube how to video. I should be getting back on this as soon as I complete 2 other builds. Almost done with one a maybe a week for the other.

This already has an EPIC vibe to it, but now that I know more about the subject this is really peaking my interest.

I really liked how the video pointed out the degrees of damage done to the different makes of the tanks. That series is not necessarily the best because the words are sometimes hard to see and there is no naration, but the facts pointed out are great.

I've collected most of the series and its good for source material in research. The author does his homework fairly well.

I now see this as a much more interesting subject to model and can see that you are possibly modelling this tank just before it explodes into a bazillion pieces.

He's using 220V but you can rig something with less power. I used a couple High intensity LED's from here:

That looks awesome.  I think that is the most realistic flame effect I have seen.  Usually, it looks fake and bad, but not this one.  Great job.  I can't wait to see it finished and on the base.
