Ugh I can't find the formations one anywhere!!! I would still have to do some scratchbuilding still no matter which way I went even with the formations conversion set.
bpanzer322 M1200 Armored Knight. I have the M1117 Guardian from Trumpeter, but I cannot find any aftermarket stuff out there to build the M1200.

Formations used to have a conversion set. I don't know if it is still available though.
You could also use the cupola and LRAS3 from a Trumpeter M1131 Stryker FSV.

ChiefSmoHow did you do the upper part of the FAASV? The chassis seems easy enough, did you just use panels?
Check out the link below and it explains it all. Basically I had panels drawn up in CAD by a friend, then had them laser-cut in plastic. I then assembled the "box" and added all the details from scratch. It was a long, laborious build, but very rewarding.

EDIT: I don't know why it isn't clickable. Copy and paste it into your browser to see a step-by-step build of it.
Love your 119. Especially the dummy cord on the muzzle plug. Not sure how many times I had to go to supply to get a new one as the old one was not to be found after first round. Damn pre-fire checks. How did you do the upper part of the FAASV? The chassis seems easy enough, did you just use panels?

M119A1 is available in resin from Mouse House Enetrprises out of Australia. It is a pretty nice kit. http://www.mheaust.com.au/MHE/Resin/OZA/M118.htm
Here is my build of it.

No M992, yet, but it can be scratched/converted from an M109 hull.
I have built a Q-37 in the past. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of it though, way before digital camaras.
I also have plans to do a complete Q-36 section too...eventually....

Here's my input for some soft skins that I would like to see made in 1/24 scale.
A slat grill MB, Holden ambulance jeep used by the Marines, M-38, M-38-A-1, M170 jeep ambulance, M151- A1 and A2, M422 Mighty Mite and I almost forgot a Ford GPA.
My list could go on for soft skin vehicle's. As long as it was used by the U.S. Army I would like to see it in 1/24 scale.

With all the soft skin vehicles out there it would be great if Trumpeter, Bronco or some other company wouldcome out with a new tool 50s through 60s military Land Rover. A short bed version would be great. I wouldn't mind seeing a four door hard roof version with parts for a civilian version.
A M-35 Duce 1/2 about 1970, a CJ-5 with the option for a hard top.
A Terrapin! What a goofy moon buggy-looking thing! A resin kit exists, but I want plastic.
And a SA-4 "Ganef" tracked missile launcher. Soviet Cold War era brutishness at its best.

As I'm only interested in Armor and Cobra helicopters at the moment:
- The A34 Comet (or re-issue by Bronco)
- T20-series American medium tank, specifically T23E3 and T23E4
- T-44
zIL punisher
I think I may have said this before but there's still some fairly common Second World War French tanks and other AFVs that are only in resin and a lot of it that you can't even get at all.

Funy you should say that. I do believe that those built in the first week of Oct 1943 have yet to be produced.
