Oh believe me, Steve, I know all THAT problem--TIME! I hope you find some to get back into it though----gotta feed the soul too, ya know? Smile

You too, Eric! You guys need to stay active! Facebook and the plethora of other forums has siphoned too many old friends away lately! Sad Believe it or not, I also heard through the grapevine that freakin' Twitter of all things is a modeling hot spot??!? (Inside info there from secret source...Confused)

Well, I dug all the supplies out of storage last night. Found my Iwata micron and compressor, ran some alchohol through it, works fine after more than a 6 year hiatus.

What is more amazing, is my paint stash, which is comprised of over 200 jars of Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics. Most of the paint is still useable. I'm converting my bench back to a modeling station and plan to get going this weekend.

Looking at the kit stash last night. I've got a Cyberhobby Panther F, or a Ferdinand that might be doable............

I'll keep you guys posted......I think I'm back......

This sight has changed dramatically, a lot of our old friends have gone missing. I'll do my best to fire it up again........

I'm with Karl. You are one of the vets here with a lot advice for the newbs and old-timers such as myself. I have no room to talk. I haven't completed and posted in almost 2-years!

A few years ago, I decided to cram the TW resin interior into a kit that absoluetly wasn't designed for it. It turned out to be quite a challenge:

Preparing the hull. Had to get all the molded gussets cut out to accomodate the resin torsion bar sub floor. Did this with a dremel wheel and an exacto knife:

Fitting the radiator fan and details to the rear sponson, a lot of resin dust flying around the bench to size them properly:

Laborius fitting of the hull subfloor and fitting styrene rod torsion bars:

Turret basket - fitting for clearance:

After hours of fitting, sanding ,trimming and cursing:

Exterior PE and some scratch accessories:

Paint:

Finish:
