Karl, it's only obscure here to us in the West. The SU-76 was numerically the second most produced AFV by the Soviets in WWII. Second only to the T-34/76. More of these made than KVs, IS's, ISU's... And it fought again in Korea under NKPA colors, with some even being captured and turned against their former owners by the ROKs once the tide of that war turned.
But yes, it would be nice to see all those holes in the US SP guns filled in 1/35 armor kits.
