Hmmm;

   Before anyone else should comment , Here's mine .I like ALL aspects of what you've done here . The color modulation and wear are outstanding . I will say the off color barrel makes me think of a barrel change on a cruiser in W.W. 2 in the Atlantic .

   She had the outside left barrel of mount two replaced and the new one did not match her camo pattern ! Plus it looked like it had not stopped firing since it was on any ship ! Black and burnt looking right up to the Mount face !

I was wondering if you used a historical reference photo for your build. The presentation suggests late war ( primed gun tube, incomplete pioneer tools, etc.) - this puzzles me because of the Porsche turret. Most of the earlt T2's from Patterborn (Porsche) were destroyed and not much of a factor after '44.

I'm just asking because I have done a lot of research when I built my Tamiya kit and have both volumes of Tigers in combat. This scheme is something I haven't seen before.

If you are taking artistic license and not depicting a certain vehicle, then I understand.

regards,

Yes its was an artistic representation, the gun barrel color its only visible in replacement gun barrel on the field.

I think it looks awesome!!!! I greatly appreciate all of the hard work you put into it. I look forward to trying my hand at building a Tiger myself soon! That zimmerit looks like quite the project!!!

The paint work is outstanding and the weathering is spot on.

I echo the others. Well done on the modulation. That barrel looks huge. Love the look of the tracks too.

Very well done.  The weathering looks great, and it makes the model very realistic and convincing.  The rusty streaks and chipping around the hatches are especially well done.  There's a lot of depth in the single color paint scheme.

Excellent,

Great work and a nice job on the modulation. I'm surprised you don't have more replies? This is nicely finished!

Hi Fellas,

Just want it to share one of my work, this is the old Tamiya King Tiger Porsche with some updates.

I put it friulmodel metal tracks, Aluminium barrel and the Mirage Hobbies Zimmerit resin kit. the building was straight forward. Tried for the first time the "Color Modulation" or as most commonly know color gradients. Its when you show a progression from light to shadow in a color. Here the pixs
