Hi every one. This is my first ever armour/tank. The T 55a./ So far it seems easy enough.
Anyone who has built this kit, do youi have any pointers you can share? Thanks

As one of Tamiya's older kits other than filling the motor/battery holes in the bottom she should go together without much fuss. The metal gun barrel you added there is a nice plus.

Thanks guys
yea, seen the gun barrel on Ebay, liked the looks of the rifling in it in the picture. But i can't see the rifling now that I have it. Maybe I will later this week, I'm getting new glasses.
I recently built the Tiran 5, probably the same basic kit with extra parts.
Went together like vodka and caviar.
Definitely a candidate for big heavy saggy Friuls.

You may be thinking of the T-62, which was good in it day, but is looked upon as a dog's breakfast now..
The T-55 kit was released this century

Yes, yes I was- whoops!
This is the best kit I've every built - not that I've built that many nor is the T-55 my favorite tank (that honor goes to M4A3E8 and Pershing!). All the parts fit perfectly and the final result was a very good looking kit. Enjoy!
