Thanks for posting those G. Just a shame Dan Snow had to be there. Don't know what happened to it driving through London, maybe the presenter got that wrong yesterday.

Found a short video on the replica in Trafalgar Square and a cool 100th Anniversary tribute:

Yeah, the Germans really took that idea and ran with it. Wow, talk about scaring the crap out of someone.

They have a real one in the museum ay Bovvy and you can go inside. Theres no way i would have wanted to crew one of them.

Ye, the Germans were shocked at first, hardly surpriseing seeing as many of them had probably never even seen a car or aircraft before the war. But they soon figured out how to handle them which lea the British to work on new tactics which was the beginging of what we know as Blitzkrieg.

Cool, that thing must have scared the crap out of the Jerrys, at least until they saw its massive limitations.

It would be interesting to see such a vehicle in London.  I know they used them in London in '17 and '18 to sell war-bonds.

The Tank Museum has their replica Mk IV in Trafalgar square to mark the event and will be driving through London later today.

Today is the 100th anniversary of tank warfare.  The first British Mark I tanks lumbered into fighting at the Battle of Flers-Courcelette on September 15, 1916.
