I have one suggestion: when you make a base for a diorama or vignette, never put the sugject matter in parallel with the base's sides. It is not as aesthetically pleasing as putting the subject at a slight cant to the sides. Look at some other dioramas and you will see what I mean. :)

Pretty awesome, haven't seen many of these built. Always neat to see something a little different. 

Great looking dozer, I agree the track links are a bit fiddley and are initially tough to figure out. All in all Meng seems to have good quality and the fit is really really good. I especially liked the beveled joints at the edges, makes for a clean finish. Great job.

Nice job on an interesting subject; is the roof designed to be removed by the manufacturer, or did you do that on your own. Great idea to show off the operator's controls.

Rob the roof is a seperate piece in order to remove and show the cabin and very detailed top and interior.  It comes like that.  When I find my other SD card interior photos,  I'll post them.  The detailed interior OOB is staggering.

The kit is an exceptional value for dollar, at least for the price when I bought it.  Compare this to the recent Italeri truck I built (for roughly the same price) and it is apples and oranges as far as quality.

I highly recommend this kit to anyone thinking about it.

The Italeri truck kits (5 tons and HEMTTs) date back to 1995-96 though. A lot of things in the modeling world have happened since then like people caring about a higher level of detail.
