Well here is my first russian armor piece, It is the dragon kit mod.1944, Really had no problems with the fit, the indy's are well ............dragon indys's though easy they where some what of a pain in Censored [censored]

. All of the handle are brass rod (my first time using it) I had a really bad incounter with the carpet monster with the handlesseemed everytime I grabed hold of them with the tweezers ...pop they took flight. For the welb beads on the turret I used stretched sprue and Tenax-7 plastic welder. When the spure is in place the glue melts it then I used a hobbie knife the simulate the weld. I used a oil wash and pastels for weathering and that is it hope you like. Thinking about muddin it up a bit though Big Smile [:D]

MM metalizer (buffing) gunmetal, titanium works good as well.

Great build. The exhaust and fuel stains are very nice. More mud definatly though.

i like the 2 man saw. is that standard Dragon tool?
i don't think my Tamiya T34/85 had one of those.

not sure if you can get your cable to lay down a bit more in the front.
it seems to defy gravity.
of course, i am not an authority on the 1:1 cables.

I'm certainly not either, but since they are really thick steel cables chances are they don't droop like rope, and probably do buckle oddly like that if they are just loosely attached.

I like it the way it is, I just can't slather mud all over a new build yet. Maybe someday.

Mud or no mud. It is definitely good looking. I have been eyeing that kit but I have already built the Tamiya version (which is not as good, I know) so maybe later.

The weathering is really good.

Great job overall.

Ok ok enuff mud slinging already.heheheehe When I make a batch of mud up I will add it to this as well as a few pthers I have since mud doesnt keep in a jar very well it is kinda a waste of other materials to do it one at a time on to the cable I am not sure it is gonna stay I dont know if I like that one or the other or both.

T-34those decals gave me a hard time even goog old solvaset coudnt take em on I basicly had to dry brush and reweather the area aroun the outter edges 2 hours of that and it almost became tiger fodder

Nice job on the tank , is that a bucksaw on the side ? The germans should have including the fine art of lumberjacking as well , maybe thats why they lost the war ? I love the 85 version of that tank ., its way too kool , you did a fine job of it , but definatly muddy that bugger up a bit , and give her some dust ,(pastel chalk ground up and dusted over the tank )chips ,etc here's a great link for that, its done in russian armor as well Big Smile [:D]

Thundergod , answer to decals ,( especially dragons rather nasty ones ) Dry transfers ! There is no comparison at all ! I just tried some archer dry t's the other day and am hooked !
