I just wanted to pick up a 1/144 for my son and was having trouble. Great models sent a timely e-mail and well you know I had to round out the order...
13 Armor models later....eight 1/144, three 1/72 and two RevellAG 1/72.
not bad for $57.

I was serious when I said nothing larger than 1/72 after the 1/16 Tamiyas.Tongue [:P]

Although every morning with coffee comes a debate over that Trumpeter T-34.
I think I'll have to pull Flip Wilson's Geraldine out and say "the DEVIL made me do it".

Or more accurately, Ron.Wink [;)]
Sorry Bill, someone else is tormenting me, you must be slacking.Smile [:)]

Just get it, man!!!

I've been swimming in the Mod '42 box for the last month now...visualizing...seeing it come together...

Just get it, man!!

Is that enough torment for ya?

I have a few tamiya kits that are in the bull pen waiting for building , I absolutely refuse to start my ausf G late panther til my interior comes in ! CMK models interior parts BTW . My stug for the group build in august is also on the way . This is highly addictive and also bad for the bank account as we all know all too well!Black Eye [B)]

just what is the size of a 1/144 kit model ? The size of a quarter? I won't even go there period ! Think I will stick to my moronic 1/35 builds !

The 1/144 are for five year old hands. although I have the sinking feeling I'll be the one doing it.
The rest are so I can finish a bleepin model in under four months....

By the way you Trumpeter Facists! You and your mind tricks almost had me. Almost. I was right there on the edge. Resist. Resist. Maybe Tommorrow.Wink [;)]

Aw c'mon ausf..... you want it. You know you want it bad. What does is have in its pockets's ? hmmmmm does it have a trumpy in its pockets's? hmmm does it? Oh precious trumpy.

You know, somewhere there is a kid with a runny nose that will buy it, squirt 6 tubes of testors glue on it, paint it caribbean blue and take it out in the backyard an blow it up with an m-80. Now you could save that kit Ausf. It could be yours.....think of it....barrel smartly painted and turret always happy to see you when you entered the room. Its treads quivering with excitement at the thought of the camo paint job you'd give it, the celuclay base gently supporting it, as it was so happy that you saved it from young snot nose. Never judging you, always there for you man.
Buy it.
Buuuuuuyyyyyy iittttt.

Does that help?Wink [;)]

That T-34 will keep calling you. It will be a little whisper. just loud enough to hear, calling "buy me, buy me, buy me". It will be there, like an annoying ad jingle you can't get out of your head until......you buy it.
The body may be willing, but the spirit is weak, as it is in all of us. I don't think you'll make it to July 4th.

Oh dear Ausf, my cretin has escaped from the closet, and he is heading your way! He left little Russian green footprints!

And who are you kidding......set til 2008....under 4 months.
You know they make PE sets for 1/72 too, and your willpower is dubious at best!

Nice stash. Too small of a scale for me though.

Is the Trump t-34 that good?
Not really a fan of anything bigger than 1:35, but maybe, just maybe...

This, Gentlemen, may be the straw...
I bought my first new car back in '91, an Isuzu Amigo, because a girlfriend said, 'If you buy that, I'm leaving'...(she did. That was a great Truck)

I once, Buff will appreciate this, ordered a Andre Racicot pro CCM jersey, because a girl in a bar said she would never speak to me again if I did...(she did.)

Although I'm old enough to know not to stick my tongue against a frozen flagpole, I might not be above a double-dog dare.Tongue [:P]

At no time, no matter how drunk you are, could you confuse Racicot for a good goalie.

Let me spell this out...
I am only back into modeling since Christmas. That's six months.

This is what I've accomplished in said six months...

only the BMW is complete.

This is what I acquired in said six months...

Plus a small library of Tiger books.

This is what's en route...
PE for 1/16 Tiger I

Dragon 1/72 Sturmtiger
Dragon 1/72 Panther G
Dragon 1/72 King Tiger
RevellAG 1/72 8 ton half
RevellAG 1/72 Stug III
Dragon 1/144 Sturm, Maus, Panzer IV, E-100, Pz 38 and three Tiger I

And you, my pals, want me to add a 1/16 T-34 to this?

Which one? '42 or '43Tongue [:P]

We're working on the same time frame, and you're about 1/2 kit ahead of me. I have finished a Semovento, and half finished a Firefly Vc. You're stash however, is much larger than mine. All I have is Tamiya Churchill VII. One kit in your stash that I had given some serious thought to buying was the Panzer III, but it seems awfully expensive. It goes for $55 around here. The panther seems to be more bang for the buck,
Awful lot of wingy thingies in that stash for a darksider...

Buff is right. Wingy things do not count against total kits stashed for darkside fans. Thus, by the law of build, you are indemnified of all wrong by your purchase of the big T-34. Besides, you need something to smoothly transition between those small boxes and the big Tiger box.....

Glad you got the reference BTW. One of my favorite movies.
