i bought a couple of the Dragon 1/144 afv kits w/ my first check from my new job,
but haven't gotten around 2 building 1 yet...still got 2 work on my D-Day GB project !

As seriously as the detail on the kit warrants. I've seen some big, crude models and some tiny, exquisite models.
There's great potential for taking one of these Leos or Karls and making a magnificent diorama with it. Is there a model railroad scale equivalent to 1/144th? (Sorry but I'm pretty ignorant of model railroading.) If there is, just imagine what a cool diorama you could put together.

the closest model rr scale 2 1/144 is n-scale,
which is 1/160 (9mm track spacing= 4' 8.5") in the US.
i think the British get even closer, using 1/148 (IIRC) scale cars & locos
on the same gauge track (their rr equipment is smaller than ours,
so the slightly larger scale works better 4 them).
a bit of forced perspective between the rr elements & the military,
no big problem there...
