Very nice finish! One common mistake often made with indy track link sets is to assume automatically that 1/2 of those supplied equals 1 track. Most kit manufacturers like Academy, Tamiya, Dragon, etc. in my experience supply extra links because it's easier for them to mold a whole sprue set as opposed to an odd number of links, so you end up with some spares almost always, although on rare occasions the kit will assume you have total mastery of your domain and will be able to achieve success with the exact count and no more or less.
This is very helpful for the inevitable occasions where you (choose any/all that apply) snap one in half because of sprue tension, tweezerpult one across the room into the jaws of the waiting carpet monster, glue one or more to your <insert body part of choice>, small animals and/or children cart away, or simply vanish when you KNOW you had the exact count of links to begin with.
For all that, indy links offer a great look and am sure yours will do great at your upcoming contest with the corrected tension! Good luck!
