That's okay my friend! Wink [;)]Cool [8D] You arfe very welcome for the info I gave. I offered my answer too since I'd had experience building four of those Esci/Italeri T-62's and thought that my answer, enhanced by Rob's info would give you the best possible knowledge you could hope to get.

I'm now firing up the Factory again to fill my shelves with more Braille Scale Armor. Stop in and take a tour with me anytime! Approve [^]

Yes, it is the old Esci kit. Esci put out two versions, the T-62 and T-62M. The M has side skirts. Italeri reissued the M version. I've also found one in an Ace Hobbies (not to be confused with the European ACE Models) box. It is called the T-62A, borrows the Tamiya kit's artwork and is the T-62M inside with different decals.

If you look on the underside of the upper hull you will see the marks where the headlight guards should go. These parts can be found in the now OOP Eduard PE set.

Worse part of the kit is the road wheels. Other than that, a pretty decent T-62 can be had.

Italeri's T-62 dates back from the early '80s if I'm not mistaken since it was originaly an ESCI kit. Lack of info on the subject must have brought those errors and many 'simplifications', as it decidely does not compare well with other kits from the ESCI range..

Well, I'm not Rob, but I have built several of these kits, one of which is featured below:

It is the Israeli captured version before it was converted to a Ti-6

It is a fairly simple kit with pretty good detail. It features link & length tracks; the first model I'd ever built with them. The kit went togther well with few fit problems. The downside is it is slightly over scale, and the wheels are very basic and simple, and not very accurate.

I liked how I could make the 12.7mm DsHK moveable up and down through careful construction.

Altogether, if you are looking for a simple build that can look good, this is an acceptable kit to build, particularly if you are lookingh for something easy to put together. If you are looking for something a bit more detailed and accurate, then you'll want to go with ACE's selection. Be warned, their kits need alot of cleanup, and can be difficult to fit together. With a lot of patience and careful buildiing, the ACE kit builds into an excellent model.

Hope this helps.
