As a build it is not bad for it's age, but it does suffer innaccuracies and is a little basic in detail. The superstructure hatches are incorrectly sited and wrong shape, the tracks need every second guidehorn removed, etc.
I compared my 20 year old build to a friends new DML offer, built OOB, at a club display last year. To the casusal eye, people could not see the differences until pointed out (although I had cut off the guidehorns). Depends on how much you want an accurate model - if just for fun, go with what you have.
