suggestions on M4A3 Sherman winter camo.
hi all,
can someone suggest how to get the winter camo on to this tamiya kit.
It appears to be a white wash over the olive green. By looking at the painting instructions it seems I could paint it whiteish first and then brush something over it to keep a coat of green from sticking to the areas I want white. then use strong tape or something to remove the green. This is just a guess but may give a realistic look??? Has anyone done anything like this? what could I use to keep the green from sticking to the undercoat that wouldn't mess up the white basecoat?
I generally use MM enamel paints.
Also any pictures of this camo would be great.
I don't know that much about armor history. Would this qualify for the "Battle of the Buldge" group build? It seems about that time period from the description on the instructions.
Thanks alot, sorry for the long post....
TIA,
