It's fine, but I found the plastic to be too soft.

It is a good kit OOTB, but Accurate Armour does make some resin improvement sets if you want to super detail the kit.

Any known shortcomings in the Trumpeter kit?? It looks pretty well detailed and moldings look good overall (a few bits of minor flash on a couple of parts, but that's it).

I'm a lazy modeler, so I feel the kit is a bit over the top in its parts breakdown. Almost every enclosed shape is created by assembling all the sides, tops, and bottoms, and tons of small details that would be just fine molded on (with no loss of detail) are separate pieces.
But I'm just lazy!
Other than that, it's a great kit, sharply molded (my kit's plastic wasn't soft), and very well detailed OOTB.

Yeah, the wheels are seriously wrong. Fortunately, Accurate Armour made replacement ones.
