Yeah, the wheels are seriously wrong. Fortunately, Accurate Armour made replacement ones.

I'm a lazy modeler, so I feel the kit is a bit over the top in its parts breakdown. Almost every enclosed shape is created by assembling all the sides, tops, and bottoms, and tons of small details that would be just fine molded on (with no loss of detail) are separate pieces.
But I'm just lazy!
Other than that, it's a great kit, sharply molded (my kit's plastic wasn't soft), and very well detailed OOTB.

Try www. scalehobby.com they have a tamiya challenger 1 mk 3
for $26 if thats any good to you?

no it dosnt have the Applique armour in the trumpeter kit but ive herd Accurate Armour are working on some add ons

It is a good kit OOTB, but Accurate Armour does make some resin improvement sets if you want to super detail the kit.

I'm looking for a good kit of the challenger II and the only kit i know of..is from TRUMPETER.. Can anybody tell me if it's a good buy!!!
