LQ2.
Wives with same opinion: You know what they say
"Great minds think alike, but fools seldom differ".
Ouch, I felt Mrs LQ2's slap on the back of my head way over hereBig Smile [:D]

Why don't you two do like the ducks and migrate each winter. Then again, hibernating in the home like a bear, cuddling up to Mrs LQ over the modelling table is probably a waaayyyy better ideaTongue [:P].

Have fun you two

Yea Peter my wife wife made the same comment, women and thier hang up on size!
I found a 2.5 gal compressor at home depot for about the same price. Going to get it as soon as I have the spare cash, or at least that which an be safely diverted. Probally be useing it alot seeing how I have the winter to sit at home with nothing else to do.

Nice work, both of you.Cool [8D] Showed my wife the pics; all she could say was "Why is Hers bigger than His?"Tongue [:P]Tongue [:P]

If you use propellant, maybe one of those adapters for a car tyre might be a handy "back up" when you run out of cans. Then all you two will need to worry about is who is going to pump the spare back up.Big Smile [:D]

Seriously though, I recently bought an "El Cheapo" 2.4 HP compressor from my hardware store for AUD $99 (about USD$66) which is about 1/4 of the price of dedicated Modelling Compressor here in Australia. It came with a regulator and a water trap, which necessary here in Humid Queensland. My Aztec 4709 fit without any problems and it works great. Maybe you can find something similar over there.

Yeah, it is noisier than my old, dearly departed modelling compressor, but hey, you only need to fill it once per sessionBig Smile [:D]. Seeing as you both build, the Mrs probably won't complain of the noise anyway.

Looking forward to Round 2

Happy Modelling

Well sorry to say wildwilliam , this is her first build and no finger prints. Did better than I have on more than one kit. Allthough i did hear about how it felt wierd to have the end of a finger glued to the end of a finger nail. She did'nt give up though and is now working on an amphibious jeep.

I think they both look great. Neat idea of doing opposing forces. Ofcourse, in a contest, the wifey winds, no matter :)

Very well done on both of your parts. Now, if I can get my wife to do the same...

I can see the movie now: Love and Models: the CA Connection. Wait, that sounds too much like a game show.

It took her a couple of weeks of working in it when she could. Biggest hold up was running out of propellent and wally world did'nt have any. If you are wondering the next round is going to be U.S. and German Halftracks. Should begin within a week.

I'd praise you Lizardqing, but that would be redundant. Your wife did a terrific
job on that howitzer; very impressive. How long did it take her to complete it?

Here a little something for y'all. My wife'sKisses [:X] Italeri 105mm Howitzer and my Tamiya 7.5 cm anti-tank gun. Shermanfreaks comment of husband and wife modeling tag team gave me the idea to do opposing forces equipment. This is round 1Black Eye [B)]. No declared winner from the judges yet.Round 2 begins soon. Hope you enjoy, it had it's moments with the fitting of the howitzer in some placesAngry [:(!]. Hopefully this only gets better.
