Lots of PE stuff. Looks like you are going all the way "accurate" and full details.

Just dont forget to add the wire that connect to the headlight to the superstructure.

Nice work on the PE. I see that you have dry fitted the cupola. You may already know about the fit up issue here with these "new" Panther kits. I'm talking about the inherent gap. There are some tutorials out there which show how to correct it. I simply enlarged the opening to settle the cupola down on my A build.

Wow, man. Great finish! That disc scheme is very cool, and the weathering looks great.

Figs in the last pic also get the thumbs up.

Great job here. You've really captured those details and replicating the disc cammo is just awe inspiring. Just a nit pick, the star antenna should be recessed in the tub. This is the same error I made on my Befehls D model, and it was pointed out to me over on missing lynx. It is easily fixed ......what a beautiful job congratulations. I really like the touch you made, showing the wear marks from the hull spare track block stowage and the rust stains...pretty cool, I might have to steal that from you on my next build!

This is a well documented vehicle, photographs of the distinct disc pattern on the skirts are clearly visible. Just google "Panther Tank" and you'll run across the pics.

panzer88 - the disc pattern was drawn onto a piece of thick graphic tracing paper.
               The outer edges were cut out, leaving the discs slightly touching each other.
               I then painted the side skirts in the tri colour camo scheme. Once dry, I placed the
               stencil over each side skirt and sprayed it dark yellow.

The round overlays were photoshopped in to show the "discs" in the pattern...one of the ideas that was debated was that the disc scheme and the ambush scheme were really one in the same...

Nice work!  I love the wear marks on the hull sides where the spare tracks are missing.  Get job on the disc pattern camo as well.  I'll save those pics for my reference.  Always great to learn new techniques.

Thats an awesome Panther! Very impresive Job from beginning to end. I've been obsessing about panthers here lately, I have a Jagdpather late built except for a few details and paint and finish and am drooling over a DML Panther A late, premium that I just got. I'd like to hit you up for advice when I start. What did you use for references if I may ask? I just ordered P. Jentz's Panther book that was recommended to me.

Steve - Next build is a March '45 Wegmann King Tiger.
           I'm actually a fair way through it at the moment and have got most of the paint work
           done. Hopefully it'll be done soon (fingers crossed).

Doug - I've got both the premium A and D waiting as well. They really are nice kits aren't they.
          I'm no expert on Panthers, but would be glad to help where I can.
          As for references, the Jentz book is great. I found the Trojca Tank Power series on the
          Panther an excellent reference as well. It's an 8 volume series that covers all Panther
          versions. Highly recommended.
