AMT kit, pretty good kit, more like a promo model though

plan on a factory stock build, daily driver type look.
first up is to get rid of the molded in headlights and replace them with lenses.

Did you drill out the chrome before putting the clear lenses in? Looks great!

Yup drilled out, then placed BMF on the back of the lenses themselves and super glued them in.

Don't you just hate it when someone has a real classic and then just lets it go... I mean just a little TLC woulda kept her beautiful. Oh yeah, it's a model. Well some cars, you just hate to see them in such a state.

Great build, so good it's even got my sympathy! Come on quick restore her!

I can't remember who it was or what kit/s but there are some out there with canoes.

Alternative might be to look around Michaels at some of their "toys", I think theyhave some Canoes or something similar that might work, if cleaned up a bit, and painted.

Is that a Johan kit by chance?
