Great job on the weathering but I liked it shiny, you should have taken better care of it.

See what happens if you don't wax your car now and then? Smile [:)]

The new issue 2 in 1 is exactly the same kit except they added new decals, some custom parts and wheels, a visor for the windshield and stakesides for the bed. The older kit only builds a stock truck. They did the same thing with the '50 Ford Truck.

I love it, James!

How'd you so the rust on the cab? Sanding? What'd you use for the rust texture?

The bed and bedris looks great as well! You should put this in a dio, out back of some barn or something! I see a cow lurking.....Wink [;)]

The Mutt is excellently done as well, but my fave is the ol' bucket!

On the truck kit, did you use the Revell '41 Chevy Pickup from a few years ago or the new release 2-in-1 from the "Trucks" series.  Both were by Revell, and honestly look like the same kit to me, looking at pics online.  I ask because I have the 2-in-1 that I bought at random when the LHS was having a good sale and wondered how well it went.

Great work on the weathering, do you know where I can find a nice (free) reference for weathering a car?  because I've got a project I wanna do but don't even know how to begin.

the truck is the new 2 in 1 kit, i never made the older kit i imangine it is exactly the same, they jsut stuck in some new tires and dcals.

for referance check out cars in barns, lots of wrecks there!
