Great work bud...I like the resourcefulness of using Canadian Tire paint!  Just goes to show that you don't need to spend a pile of cash on this stuff to achieve greatness.  I did the same thing with my B-29, I bought a can of tremclad aluminium instead of spending a tonne on Tamiya paints.  If you'd like to see how it turned out, check out my post in Aircraft.  Keep up the amazing work!

Just one question--how does one apply Future "with an old T-shirt"?!

Looks great James, love the extra little details help bring everything together. Yeah I love the Future, also I use it over carbon fiber decals and for my windows. I'll be following this build.

James, please--from a mere mortal to an Auto Modeling God--I beg you, reveal how you get your finishes? They are literally the best I've ever seen. And the most consistently perfect!

WHat kind of paint are you using? It's just simply perfect!

I'm just blown away......................again!

i dont use anything fancy or expensive!, i use contractor grade spray paint from canadian tire, its just the cheap enamel 2.99 for the big can.  for clear i simply use future i apply 3 coats with an old cotton t-shirt. i wait 30 mins between coats,  then use some spray detailer to shine it up more. something like mothers etc..

i see people using automotive 2part clear and stuff spending 100's of bucks lol i get same result for around 10 bucks and the future can last you years in the bottle!

i love future cause if you mess up just spray it with windex and start over lol
