1967 Chevy Impala kits....help!

There are several of this kit, though I think they may just all be re-releases of the same on XD

I built the 1967 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport by AMT/ERTL #8207 and theres a thread about it here.

But I've seen that one (blue with blue interior on the box), a "1967 Impala Street Machine" (completely yellow with aftermarket rims), a re-release of the street machine under the name "1967 Chevrolet Impala" in the AMT "Classics" line, and then a release in the Custom Rides Collection (green with big dub rims).  It's probably all the same kit, only adding new rim options as time went on because they're all 1/25th scale by AMT or AMT/ERTL.  There may be even more, but that's the only ones I've been able to find.  Hope this helps you.

Is that 1967 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport by AMT/ERTL #8207 a discontinued kit? Because I can't seem to find anyone selling it.

Dang it....I was planning on getting a 1967 Impala kit, so I could scratchbuild specific areas like the trunk, to model it off a tv show.(Some folks may realize what show I'm talking about.)

Can't wait to buy that 67 Chevy Impala Super Sport, alot of scrathbuilding may be involved for the project I'm planning, but I'm still lookin' forward to it.

Two aftermarket hoods were listed: a "small block" hood without the louvers found in the 8207 kit, and a hood with a huge cowl-induction scoop. I also found the kit cheaply enough on eBay. Thanks, Dan A!!! As for tv show, I'm reffering to Supernatural. I want to get 1967 Chevy Impala kit and then model it off of the 1967 Impala they drive. That means quite abit of scrathbuilding, including an arsenal of weapons in the trunk. A project that is still in the planning stages.

Happy to help! My mom worked for GM dealers in the 60s and 70s, and I grew up hanging around the dealership after school and then working there as a teen in the early 70s. Always had a soft spot for Impalas.
