Once the exhaust is in place I will have to fill the seam where that small cross pipe joins.

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] WOW! Great weathering on that exhaust and undercarriage!!! Tongue [:P]

I can't wait to see what you do with this one! I'm a big fan of weathered, realistic-looking cars!

My Father drove a 1960 Ford, Black with a White roof and Black interior back then as a work vehicle.  I always liked the styling and remember the car rode real nice and would go like heck, too!!

Last week I received one of the new Round 2 1960 Ford Starliner from John (I helped a bit with the 1949 Ford release) and I have to say this model is one of the best I've seen in a long time.  Very nice boxart that is functional as well; I especially like the parts layout on the bottom of the kit box.  John did a SUPER job on the graphics layout with great colors and a "Hey, pick me up and look at this kit" factor.  Glad to see you're building this model and will follow along for the "ride".

I used some flat black then brushed pastels over that until I got the color I was after

Very nice start on the build! Can you give a bit more info on the weathering technique, please?

BTW: From the looks of that hardhat you're wearing I would have guessed you were an Aircraft man, but I'm glad to see you like Auto's too. ;-)

I applied a coat of paint to the body. figures I run out of paint! those model master sprays are to small! I'll have to pick some more up on the weekend so I can paint the hood and dash.
