1974 USAC Dodge Charger

Now that we got this photo thing worked out, heres a few pics of my recently completed Charger.  Its a real race car, in that special place in the back of my mindWhistling [:-^]that I'm sure I'll drive to several victories at the Milwaukee Mile next year.Sigh [sigh]Ok back to reality.  I did do it up in a sort of theme involving my alma mater, Northwestern and some of the local businesses there in Evanston at the time I was there in the late 70's, in the stlye of the times.  I just loved the Northern Illinois type of fancy and artistic signpainting.  Hope you enjoy.  It was a real multi kit bash and spare parts project, any questions just let me know.Photobucket[img]http://Photobucket[img]http://Photobucket[img]http://Photobucket[/img][/img][/img]  And I apologize that our current camera isn't to highly pixilated so the close ups leave a little to be desired.

Fantastic build Dave!! I love you knowledge of the sport and your builds a great.

Now I wanta see and AWB A/FX Dodge of the Dick Landy type. I'm doing an AWB of a 67 GTX that I know never was but it's a learning thing.

zgator,  Thanks for the kind words on the Charger.  As for Landy or the AWB Dodges and Plymouths, I didn't find your response under the Hot OTB 68 Petty etc. thread farther down, of Dec. 2, 2008, until several days later.  I did reply to that on Saturday or Sunday.  Take a peek there.  I'm not as well versed with the drags as I am roundy rounds but I gave you all my best ideas for Dicks car; it would apply to any others as well and I posted several vintage shots of Dandy Dick's car for you there.  Take a look and let me know if it got there and what you think.

Thanks again.   oh, and to you too Doog, for the thumbs up.
