Hi Coldsteel6d-
IMHO Tamiya is by far and away the best for car models. Most have moveable front-wheels, but most DON'T have engines and are called 'curb-side'. There newer kits have decals for the insterment dials and seatbelts, and some have painting masks for the windows. And as with most Tamiya products the kit details are crisp, the instructions are easy to follow, and the build itself is simple. And the tires are Always better than the ones in the Revell or AMT kits also.
Tamiya also makes a Great line of motorcycles you might like. They are 1/16 scale so are larger than the cars, therefore more and better detail.
A while back I found a Ducati 916 and I was so impressed by this Kit that I decided to wait for my skills to improve before attempting it.
And best of all... Tamiya themselves make aftermarket Photo-Etched brass sets for both there cars & cycles.
Anyway, Good Luck and remember- Kepe your stick on the ice,
