TD4438 I'm not a huge fan of lowriders, but this is a much better alternative to rotting in the woods.

GROSS!!!!
I'd rather shave my head than tool around in anything that looked like THAT! lol!
You'd have about enough rubber on those "tires" to go fetch a loaf of bread from the local corner market!
If there's one thing I CAN'T STAND, on real cars and especially models, it's those "low profile", "DONKS"-styled tires!!!
And personally, I'm partial to rustbuckets m'self! (Actually, that IS a nice looking Impala--minus the "tires"!

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.
Well, I'm forced to agree, ending up a lowrider is better than being a rust pile, which is why I said rescue it before it gets turned into one!
So long folks!
Thanks, Jim!That would be awesome!
PM--er, I mean, "a conversation" on the way! Check your messages!
Karl, I've got 2 of them. They look just like the scoop on the chevy in your pic. Sorry about my confusion in my last post. A lot going on in the house and I just glanced at your post and didn't read it through. Just PM me your address and I'll send them to you right away.
Karl, I'm not sure if you are looking for the '49 hood or the scoop. If it's the hood, I have 2 - '49 or '50 hoods. 1 is the stock hood with "FORD" letters and indentation for the emblem. The other is the custom version with no lettering and smoothed off. The custom version has lines on the underside for the hood scoop cut out if so desired. If you need just scoops, I'll check the other box I have with custom parts.
Yeah, do you believe that? I about near shipped my pants! It's sitting next to an old dirt track 1./4 miler--the Mok-a-Tek Speedway, the very same one that I profiled in my '34 Ford build. (resuming that when I get home!)
It's in a field in fornt of the track, about 100 feet off the road. The engine is gone, and the interior gutted pretty much, but it's still prettty cool to come across! I'm going to build it when I get home!
A lowrider circus car would be a better fate than the one it now enjoys.
Karl, sorry no scoop, but go and rescue that car before some lowrider gets it and turns it into a circus car!
How long has that been there?Seems like a hell of a waste of a good car!
Hi guys!
I'm trying to find a hood scoop from maybe the AMT 49 Ford, or the "Bad Man" Chevy Bel Aire to replicate the custom hood on this derelict 63 Impala SS that I found sitting in a field by the side of an old, abandoned quarter-mile dirt track that I used to frequent as a child.
Can anyone help me out? Check it out---how cool, huh?
