Did you use any wax to produce the shine or is that just the gloss paint?

WEll what I did was;I polished out the orange paint and then I gave it 6 coats of clear gloss and then polished that out!One of my nicer paint jobs I should think!

OMG!! lol the California Vette!!! My brother built that kit back in the '70's and still has it stored in built in the original box tucked away in his closet. WOW what a blast from the past!!!!! You have done that car justice!!!! WELL DONE!!!Toast

 As a car buff from waaaay back I recall cringing when that movie came out and I first saw the abomination of a Vette playing the leading role?

HEY! You're right! I wondered why I remembered the movie car as so ridiculously ugly and then somehow I thought you were doing the same basic car???/
