It is fun built "stuff"... I started with the Lego, and after plastic kit, some military stuff...

Sorry I didn't explain the SABA acronym. Scale Auto Modeler Association, it is a model club here in Portland Oregon. Nice club/people! :) sabanw.org

Me too I had kind of the same problem, living in a small town, where there was no hobby store, the only one that carry model kit didn't had a big choice and it is more on the RC cars. So became "natural" scratch-build parts... It is also fun the research and learning for your building, like the Wild Bee, I didn't know that the horses are measured by hands! :) This make all so fun, every time you learn something new! :)

Would be nice have a career building model stuff, but in the other hand, the hobby will became a work... :)

Thank you again!

No problem dude!Yes

Ever sense 'Scream liner' I knew you had talent and a nack for custom creations out of plastic and your wild imagination. Looking forward to more of your work Brizio! The possibilities for taking a OOB kit and morphing it into something unique are limitless as you have shown here. I am not familiar with the acronym 'SABA'... The industry I worked (oilfield and gas processing plants) it stood for 'Supplied Apparatus Breathing Air' I'm sure it has a different meaning and I was curious to it.Hmm

Forced into scratch building due to distances to decent hobby shops I can appreciate your efforts and detailing as well. Why be a slave to the after market and manufactures replacement parts that take forever to arrive? That being said I can see you involved creating custom goodies as a career.Cowboy

Thank you SuppressionFire! Very glad you like it! And you understand of my humor. :) I love western movies, and a Wild car, like this In my idea was the best choice... I had a lot of fun build it, and you know those is one of the kind of model that came out without to much thinking... :)

Good idea for the display base! :) Maybe one day I will build it! :) Last Saturday I went at the PNW NNL Model Fest, because the theme of this year was "its got a Hemi"... :) So I took it there, also because this show with swap meet it is organized by the club I belong (SABA)... Great show!!! Over 350 models!!! And 100 with the Hemi! Plus some WIP!!! The Wild Bee won best Hemi, and people choice!!! :) I had great time, meet mostly of the SABA's members!!! :)

Brizio, Can't hang that one on the wall...

Cause' its off the hook!

OMFG thats one cool cattle liner! I lived in western Alberta, Canada most of my life and I tell ya' its like a tribute to all the famous cowboys past and present! The cow hide cover on the trunk looks so real I swear I smelled leather just looking at it!Bow DownBow DownBow DownStarStarStarStar

Lynn Jenson RIP and Earnie Schnidemiller would tour the rodeo parade each year in a Cadilac sporting Texas longhorns on the hood!...Its said Corb Lund sang at Lynn's funeral, broke down in tears sending him to the pastures in the sky.

IdeaA display base wired to sound like a bellerin' steer, complete with barb wire fence and Texas gate would really get looks at any model show. Yippy cye eh!.. Way to git R' done buddy!Toast

That's really cool! The horns on the hood remind me of Boss Hogg!Yes

I don't know how comfortable I would be driving that with a rifle pointed at the back of my head, though!Big Smile

Some other pics...

Now (for whom followed the WIP) you know the brooms purpose...  :P You can also see the horse shoe tail light shaped... :)

For some models I like to have a specific box for it. For carry it around and also because I have't a furniture/display... So my models goes in a box... They came in a box, and go in a box... The circle of life... :)

Thank you for looking!

Little step by little step, I finished also this one... :)
The first thing you will notice is that the roof its gone. Interior modified, scratch-built the trailer and others things on the engine compartment, guns, guitar, horns, etc....
Some pics...

New interior, the gas and brake pedal are shaped like horses shoe.

Door handle.

The twin turbo 440...

Now that the Blown Mower it is done, I have some time to share with the T-Bee... I will add to it a trailer, here a mock-up of it.
The chassis it is almost done, need springs, some electrical cable, lights... etc... The rims are from a Jeep Willys, but the tires I have no idea from where they came out...  :D

OK, I can go wit those...

As a MOPAR purist though, I gotta say I'm squirming a bit over here, Brizio, lol!

Kudos to you for your originality and imagination on this unique build!

Made some progress... A lot of work to put the 440 Hemi under the hood, with two turbocharger. Before I scratch build a fuel injection system for the engine, and after I made the turbos, and all what they need... I think it fit great on it...

Before all, I painted the car, in gold... Looks not to bad... Different... Smile

Soon I hope to finish it, the "big' work its done! Smile

What do you think?

the doog

Cool work on the steering wheel, Brizio--just promise me that you're not going to use any awful low-profile "DONK'S"-style tires, or big, goofy, flashy rims?

Nothing ruins the look of a muscle car more than those kinds of modifications!!

Don't worry about that!I hate too those kind of wheels, on all the cars, not only muscle... :)

I'll use some steel rims, with stock tires. That I'm having difficult to find, but I'll think to use a combination of two Jeep rims.

Soon I'll take some pics. :)

Brizio

Thank you Bgrigg, I like to add some details. Just you know, it would be little different from a normal Super Bee, not only because of details. But... You'll see... :D

jetmodeler

Can't wait to see some more progress. My grandfather said that he used to own a 1969 Super Bee.

I hope this week to make some progress with it... At least paint it...

Cool that you grandfather owned one! With a Hemi or the Six pack? I need to tell you that mine will be little different then a stock Super Bee...:)
