Really like your 55' Nomad!
One trick you can try from building armor is use a flat black wash on the grill to make the slots look deeper. Wipe the top with a rage dampened in thinner to keep the chrome clean n' shiny!
I picked up Revell's 57' Nomad at a show n' shine recently, it has to be the worst kit I have had the misfortune to start, after a few hours cleaning up horrible parts and dry fitting I returned to the vendor to get replacement wheels. The kit ones had HUGE sink holes. After digging through bags of spare wheels he cut me a deal on a 49' Mercury by AMT/ETRL. What a cool kit and light years ahead in detail, moldings & satisfaction.
