Thanks to everyone who has commented on this build. It makes me feel that the build was all worth it. :)

As a lover of all things smashed and/or rusty, I give it two HUGE YesYes's! It's definitely a fresh take on a truck as a modeling subject. I can't remember ever seeing one built as "wrecked".

My highest compliments. It's awesome, honestly.

Man, I hate it when that happens.  Great work all around and excellent creativity.  Can't think of a better thing to happen to a Renault................................

Thanks fellows. The grease is simply a mixture of old machine grease, used to lubricate them(from my work place. I work in a steel factory) and a mixture of black paint mixed with a little black pigment. I just mixed everything with a Q-tip and applied.

How did you make the grease on that wheel?

Thanks. I do have another unsmashed truck build. I have personally seen trucks with that much grease here in Sweden. So It is not uncommon. There are things in life that certain people do not see everyday and things that are seen everyday. ;)  It may not be common be it has been done.

Thanks for the comments.

Nice one! I like it, although I prefer trucks in one piece Big Smile I like the weathering and the realistic damage, but I think you have gone "a bridge too far" with the grease on the fifth wheel. Do you have any unsmashed trucks? I'd like to see them. Good luck with your next projects, have a nice day

This project, like all my other projects, had to be different. :) This one I call - Smashed! I looked at many pics of different truck crashes and went on from there. This is my second 1/24 scale truck. Enjoy the photos.
