Auctioning-off My Collection

Well, I know some guys here may be against it.....but Ebay (or evilbay as some here call it) is the easiest way. I usually expand and contract my collecction every so often.They recently changed their selling policy too. Before a seller paid a fee based on starting price and final sale price. Now it is just the final sale price.

As far as putting a price on the items that is harder. For me I get rid f the kits I know I am not going to build, or have multiples of. Since you sound like you are getting out all together it might be easier. I have listed for as low as .01 and up to 29.99 to start. I usually gage my pirces but what I see being sold that is similar. Best of luck.....and who knows maybe I will get a chance to bid on some of your kits.

From someone who has sold collections and individual kits, I would tell you that you will never get what you expect for them. Brace yourself to take a loss on them, unless you've got a number of high-value rare kits--which even then in this lousy economy, might go for less than you'd think.

The best thing you can do is to research each one by name compare prices, and then either match or go below the lowest price. That will pretty much guarantee that your model sells first.

Don't try to sell them here though--FSM has a policy against allowing that on the site.

Apparently the moment I started to build an inventory list I realized how difficult it is to part from them, as a matter of fact I started building one of them and decided to cancel my original plans,

I am just interested to see how much one of kits i have is worth now? its a Suzuki Nuda 1/12 resin model by Cream, it took me a very long time to locate one,

You won't get diddly for them.  I would suggest you consider donating them to a local Veteran's hospital, or to soldiers on duty in Afganistan or Iraq, or wherever. I have read recently that they really appreciate the diversion of being able to work on these things.

That's a little rough, Chuck, the diddley part but giving kits to the troops is all good.
