This is an Alfa Romeo GTV. I got one of Tamiya's GTV kits in 1/24 scale which the seller listed as 'mega rare', even though he had four of them for sale. i made the chassis and engine look worn and dirty, as the car is a daily driver. I also made the car Right Hand Drive, but the kit only provides a LHD dash, so i modified it.
This is one of three cars from the Top Gear Alfa Challenge. I previously did a model of Jeremy's Alfa 75 from the Alfa Challenge, /forums/t/137443.aspx
This is how the set it shaping up, i've just got to repaint the Spider

Excellent job! Looks good with the others. Can't say I've seen this kit. What was the year?
Thanks,
K.
year was 1996. (back when alfa had style).
Great looking model & very convincing.
You must like you're Alfa's - I know it wasn't in the Top Gear challenge, but if someone does a kit of the 155, a BTCC / Gabriele Tarquini version would be quite something;

Flawless workmanship!

i used to own a Alfa GTV 2.0
which i modeled as well
WOW< jeez, what'd ya paint it with? The paint looks flawless!
what can i say... "looks can be deceiving". it's sprayed with export brand paint straight from the can (over grey primer). i polished it with the novus three step system (fortunately didn't need any more work, like polishing cloths).

I see you've modeled it in the standard default position for Alfas, too! ;) Every gearhead should own an Alfa at one point in their lives. Mine was a 1967 GTV that I owned very briefly. Loved the car, hated the mechanics!
So long folks!
