THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!

RICKY CARMICHAEL ROCKS!!!!

I'm jealous of your model! It's so cool and so well done! I wish it were in my shelf, to honor Ricky!

Unfortunately his results have not been anywhere near his dirt biking prowess. I wish he'd go back to motocross!

Great model though!!!!

That's an impressive looking #4, Mick. it really jumps out at you. all you need is the standing driver and it'd look just like the top photo.

Thanks for the remarks.  I build shelfers, no engine, hood glued down and no chassis details.  I do enjoy the cabin details and building as if the cars are setting on pit road pre-race; steering wheel off and on the dash, net down.  I make the window nets by cutting thin strips for the top & bottom horizontal strips then thinner strips for the vertical & horiz net strips.  I use PE pieces for the net attach hardware glued to the back of the net with white glue.  Love to do the wheel/tire details too.  I have built a few models with post race details.

Very nice build, I like the electronics you replicated on the dash and the steering wheel off with the wiring is a nice touch since when no driver is in the car this is what you would see.

Very nice. Very nice indeed Yes

While cars ar not my normal subject, since Marcos Ambrose won last week, (and again last weekend) as a fellow Tasmanian I have had it in mind more than once to build his car.

Great mods and nice paint!  Like all the cabin goodies too.  Thanks for sharing.
