You'd get a lot more responses if you took the time to post pictures. Whistling

fine scalers

just to make it clear.

IF i was using model paints, i'd get a testor's spray can and

then a matching color bottle to touch up.

i'm using color place paints.

i'm changing interior color to gloss white.

octane orange

sorry, no pix for the time being.

1 i noticed i have '57 corvette diecast right on computer desk.Smile

i also owned a '57 283 4 speed vette, that's helped!Smile

helped me figure out to paint floorpan BODY COLOR and

interior section tan which will be interior color.

2 model paint colors should be bought 1 little spray can AND

1 bottle to touchup with.

that's for the paint/glue/touchup method which i've picked.

frame-flat black

engine & trans-orange & silver, use bottle paints and a brush.

Good choice--you can also check with Model Car Works for an accurate list of factory-correct paints for this year car. He sells beautiful reproductions of actual car paint mixed from the actual chips. There is no finer lacquer paint available, in  my opinion.

i'm going to go ahead and build this kit.

in the future i'll build airplane and ship models.

i'm going to paint frame, fenderwell and that kind of stuff flat black.

paint the car red, white or blue.

hand paint engine and trans with Testor's Acrylics.

The only reason I would buy a model is to build it. You might as well buy a television and never watch it. What fun is that?
