I assume these are new kits totally. they came out last year or 2011?  this is the kit with the yellow car on the box art

Very nice JT.  Have you added/enhanced the engine and radiator in any way or are those the kit parts used?

engine is stock just paint detail and some wires.  I used the radiator from the V8-60 kit I think it looks better. and added gold foil on the top part to simulate brass and the foil edges are sliver when you cut it,and that made perfect looking solder lines  lol.

added on the dash and wired the gauges. also added "tape" around the steering wheel for a more period look.

When something starts out looking this good I can't wait to see more! I like your color/finish choiceson the components so far.

Those are indeed new kits, and they have new molding technology.  The detail on the parts is astounding!  These two kits (one Ford V8-60, the other the 110 Offy) are among the the best kits I have ever built.  However, along with the above good news, there is bad news.  Sales of the kits were disappointing to Revell, and there will be no more production.  They are disappearing off shelves, never to be found again. So if you want one, you need to get them while you can, or be willing to pay eBay prices!

They are just a bit fragile, which is inevitable given that the frame and suspension parts are scale diameter/thickness, not like old monogram kits with heavy suspension.  As you can see from James' photos, the engines in particular are little jewels, almost worth buying a kit just to build and display the engines.

I painted the rear bodywork, and added a few screw heads around.

Why doesn't FSM have a 'like'  button as FB does? I don't always know what  to say but I do know what like!

Glad I jumped over here, James! Man, NO ONE builds as cleanly and beautifully as you-I swear, you never disappoint! This is just gorgeous!

What a beutiful build. Love the detail work, the heat staining on the exhaust, the weathering and everything else about this model. It looks like you could climb in and hear that Offy cackle to life! Love the woody too!
