I think, but am not sure, that this is the finished model of the kit above:

Now I've got to go on the hunt for one myself. No doubt it's gonna carry a high price for a model kit. LOL! Very nice kit by the way. What scale was it?

The original book was written by Ian Fleming.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

That was one of my favorite books in my early years at school, but I never saw the movie. The book seems to be hard to find today; sometime back, I wanted to buy a copy for one of my friend's children but couldn't find any. Now his kids are too old for it.

Gorgeous model, by the way!YesYes

Hello there. Being new to this forum, I decided to jump in here with my build of the 1968 Aurora kit. For a 45 year old model, all the parts were in great shape. Some scratch-building and part modifications were made as well. The body was hand painted as well as the pin-striping. I bought this kit in pristine condition years ago from an online model broker who was clearing out his stock- the right place at the right time. At 1/25 scale, it goes well with my Tom Daniel car collection. Thanks.
