I do like this. Never heard of these models before. Love the old Bugattis. A nice looking job on an interesting event. Your figure modeling is pretty good as well.

The kit is from LeMans Miniatures from a small French manufacture.  They make resin slot cars, but the details are all there with photo-etch parts and very accurate.  One of those multi-media kit.

The figure is also from them.  rather rough in the raw form.  Took a while to get it sanded and smooth things out.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that the LMM kit is in 1/24th scale.

A friend of mine has built it and it makes up into a very nice kerbside model.

His is definitely 1/24th....Did LMM make one in 1/32nd scale as well?

Previous posts have neglected to mention the lovely photo etched wheels that were radally spoked

like those that were first used on the Type 59.
