I'd like to see more Indy cars, but considering how poorly their recent Kurtis Midget sold, I suspect that is a non-starter.

I would like to see some of the American Motors cars like the AMX (68,69,70) Javelin, Ambassador, Matador, and the Scrambler, as well as the Marlin which was the prototype for the Dodge Charger. I know JoHan did a bunch of these but they went belly up and the buyers of their molds and intellectual property have only released a few of the old kits. I would like to see R/M do a 1/48th F9F Cougar with all the modern mold qualities. How about a 1/48th C-119 "Flying Boxcar". I can dream can't I?

Hey, how about an American Motors "Pacer" ???   Or maybe a "Gremlin?"  I used to work in Kenosha, WI where the plant that built this junk was located.  One good thing was that spare parts were easy to find- they were  laying alongside the highways all over the place!    Free for the taking!   :-)

I definitely voted for the

Renwal The Visible Automobile Chassis.

I built it when first released but it did not survive my first move as a child.

Want the Allison turboprop kit re-released; missed out on buying it during a re-release in the late 1970s or early 1980s

I also voted for the

Westinghouse Atomic Power Plant

Wow there is a lot of "interesting" ideas.  I agree Don some Vintage Indy cars would be nice.  I cant stand how some people are putting in kits that exist. Doesnt matter what company, If you can get it still on ebay or online why clutter up the idea list.  Seems like 1/72 figures are hot for some reason.

Cadet Chuck - they do make  Pacer and Gremlin kits. I had both kits in my younger years.

I'd like to see a 64' Dodge Dart or a 60s era Ford Falcon sedan.

I voted for the power plant also. I collect the old insulators for telephone poles and a long time ago, I saw that kit at a model kit expo and thought that would make a great "go-with" for my collection.

Then I saw they wanted 500 dollars for the damn thing.Boo Hoo I didn't buy it.

I sure would like to buy a re-issue of that kit ; it is slowly gaining votes.
Would be nice if it had as many votes as .........1/72 body parts for multipose figures HmmSurpriseWhistling

That's pretty cool that they are asking people what they would like to see available. Hopefully, it's more than simply a marketing gimmick to get people thinking about buying kits and they'll actually create some of the more popular choices. I'm a little worried about their research, however. They couldn't even spell Tardis correctly. It's not a Tartis! Maybe they better stick with subjects they know. :-)

Oops, now I get it. The entries are added by interested people. In that case, they better stick with subjects their customers actually know. :-0

I know AMT/Ertl has one out on the market but I would LOVE to see an all new tooled 67 Camaro RS w/ hide a way lightsWink

Flaps up,

 Mike

If you would listen to everybody about the inaccuracies, most of the kits on your shelf would not have been built Too Close For Guns, Switching To Finger

I would absolutely DIE to see a Bucyrus-Eric coal shovel, or any kind of dragline bucket crane from the 30s-1960s that were used in stripping and digging/construction. My dream is to make a replica of one of the many that you can still find in coal country where I grew up, rusting into the coal fields in which they were abandoned!
