Guys, thank you for the kind words. They are appreciated.

Mustang: Not planning on it, I haven't competed in a show in fifteen years. It's just not my cup of tea anymore.

Well.....after almost 10-months of lolligagging, I finally finished the Ford F-150 security patrol vehicle! The stripes are from MicroScale and were a pain in the butt to work with. The numbers are from Chimneyville and the door markings are home-made.

Geesh......it's been almost 5-months since my last post. Tongue Tied

I finally finished the mini-lightbar for the F150 Raptor patrol vehicle. It's made with one of the mini-bars from the Trumpeter ALF kit and I added Evergreen retangular tube & strip inside which was painted Humbrol (metal cote) polished aluminum. The lenses were painted with Tamiya clear green & yellow.

I finally finished fitting out the interior of the Raptor patrol vehicle.  Here's a couple of pics:
I scratchbuilt the Mag-Lite, added the gear bag to the bag seat, painted the seatbelt release buttons and modified the clipboard from the Caprice kit into a Cruiser-Mate.

Now to work on the mini lightbar and decalling.  :ugeek:

Thanks for looking....

I was finally able to get some work done on the Ford Raptor: {please excuse the pic quality, I used my phone and was running late for work}

the cab interior - Image
another view of the interior - Image
I still need to add a few bit & pieces (CruiserMate, MagLite, gear bag, etc.) to depict a security patrol vehicle.

Thanks for looking and, as always, comments welcome. Clown

Now the body is ready for primer:

the cab after one coat of primer (should have used grey!)

I masked and then hit the cargo bed with a coat of Model Master fabric grey to get liner texture

I'm building the Raptor as a security vehicle, so here's what i've done to fill the sun roof:

I used a Dremel with a rotarysaw blade to remove the sun roof partion from the interior glass

after sanding the edges, I installed the clear sun roof

once set, I used Tamiya basic putty to fill the seams

here's a finished view
