What kind of parts are you curious about?  I know semi trucks seem pretty hot right now.

I'd love to build a 5.9 Cummins or 7.3 Powerstroke but wow...  complicated!

Well, you could do corrected frame fronts, frame crossmembers, front axles, rears - camelback and air ride, steering boxes, brake drums and cylinders, radiators, air cleaners - really lots of stuff. Don't do much in cars, but how about stuff like starters, alternators, distributors, batteries, maybe cleaner fan and belt stuff.

Wheels and tires come to mind as well.

For the p/u and 4x4 crowd, different bumpers might be nice (winch types or heavy duty types) along with a couple of winches.

I never thought of that!  Off road bumpers would be cool!

I'd like to see cop car accessories - stuff you'd find in the car like toolboxes, guns, the plastic rear seats with the indents for handcuffs, radar guns, and a modern computer/radio set.  Maybe a spotlight too.  

Oh, and pushbars and modern antennae.  

Decent wire wheels are needed.  However, this might be a stretch in plastic 3D printing.  I have seen decent PE spokes, and the old "lace them yourself with wire" ones.  There are a few PE sets for modern very wide wheels, but not for vintage stuff, say fifties and earlier.

Yeah Don, I agree wire wheels would be nice.  The PE seems to be the best way now days.  I have never used any but they seem to look excellent when people make them.

Headers!  They're tough to cast, and pieces stolen out of other kits are expensive.

This maybe too specific but transmission and engine parts for Tamiya's 1/24 Porsche 962C.  The kit provide stuff is way too basic.

I second the suggestion on headers.  Of particular interest to me currently would be something for the Revell '57 Fords.  I can't imagine Fireball Roberts ran with stock exhaust manifolds, and the sedan and new station wagon cry out for fenderwell AND inside the frame headers for drag and street looks.  But whatever you do, thanks for thinking of us...

Another vote for pickup/ 4X4 accessories here. More winches, cargo racks, bumpers, utility boxes, tools. I would kill for a farm jack in 1/ 25.

Also, I've always wanted modern camping gear. Tents, coolers, Coleman lanterns & stoves, etc.

Dog dish hubcaps for a 1969 Ford f-100.

Glad hands for tractor trailers. These are the attachment points for air hoses and electrical lines between an 18 wheeler and its trailer. 

Oh, and trailer hitches for 70's vintage cars like MPC's Chevy Caprice and pickup trucks would be great. 

I would also like to see (have available for purchase) headers and truck accesories, but first and foremost, Please Please Please make some Marston Mat; i.e. Perforated Steel Plate as used in WWII in both theatres for landing strips. There's very few options available and they're all expensive. First person to come to market with affordable MM in popular scales wins big!

Hey Cody, just a suggestion, but go check out JEGS.com or a Summit Racing catalog. Many of those aftermarket auto parts in the catalogs may be of interest as parts for modeling.

I would like to see decals more readley available, it seems at the moment when you do find them they can be as expensive as the model it self.

   No not quite what I had in mind . Marineized Gas and Diesel engines have very different mounts , water intake and expulsion hardware etc . The Diesels have a provision to run either dry ( very Noisey ) or wet exhausts and gas just has a lot of different hardware .

The 1/8th scale Porche from Entex - this is what the original ILM guys used for most of the models from Jedi. If you want to make some serious money that would be one to consider. There are a LOT of people who need the parts from that kit - the fenders, hood, engine, and suspension parts. Also rims from any kit. Think of all the people who have lost at least one from their model after it was built. Moving around from one place to another, and being bumped around, etc. Roll cages are another that I wish someone would offer in at least 1/25th scale if nothing else. There's a HUGE market for these on evilbay. Car engines are another -  a great many number of model companies lacked greatly in this area as far as either accuracy, or cusomising options. Sprint car chassis, and engines are cool too! These offer a greater possibility for custom options in one piece chassis as opposed to ones that have to be glued together. Some of them break apart too easily even if you use superglue. I have one that will need to be put back together in MANY pieces now that they came apart. Just food for thought.
