saw Bill "Maverick" Golden of "Little Red Wagon" fame passed away. Seeing him pilot that little dodge pickup in a wheelstand for over 1320+ft was the highlight of my youth up to that point!! Thanks for the memories, Bill. Good video, bad music: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tWTG-oXbjNU
Time to build that old red Lindbergh kit in his honor..... Does anyone make a kit of the "BIG Red Wagon" tow vehicle?

Right there with you on that one Rudy. Him and ol' Bob Riggle together have "wowed" the crowds for decades doing those crazy 1/4 mile wheel standers. "Maverick" will be missed for sure.

I was at Milan Dragway (Milan, MI) in the late 80's, and Bill Golden was there with the LRW, and Bob Riggle with the "HURST Hemi Under Glass" were there. I have Both of their autographs. I think I know where the Pic Of the HHUG is, I will try to find it and post it.
Wow sad to hear that another of the "Great Ones" has left us.
I remember watching him run "Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, at US 30 Dragway, Were the Great Ones Run!" back when I was a kid in the early 70's.
