Howdy all! First post in this thread, mainly been over in the aircraft section on this forum. But i do a lot of cars and wanted to share this with y'all. Overall thoughts on the kit, the decals are the star here. Cartograf did an amazing job! They were just a joy to work with. Also, the engine bay area is very nice, and once I got things lined up i'm very pleased with how it turned out, and quite proud of my efforts with alclad and the minor added wires (spark leads, wires running to the radiators in the back etc) and that was my big positive. The bads... the fit is not what i expected of tamiya. Maybe i just messed things up again, but the fit of the rear clamshell, and the fit of the overall body left me very sad. It just would not line up in the middle of the body. Maybe it's because its just an old tooling, as this was a re-release. If anything else, i can say i learned one or two things along the way.
