Mack Bulldog
Posted by MrT on Thursday, November 10, 2016 8:01 AM

One of my completed builds for this year.  This is a 1924 Mack Bulldog by Monogram with a scratch built wood bed.  A pretty nice kit.  Thanks for looking in.

Some beautiful wood work. Thanks for posting pics that open large.

Looks great!

Indeed, those Monogram Macks can be built with any number of interesting payload areas.  They were very popular in their day.  I built one as a tanker, with different tank than the Monogram tank- more of a homemade tank.  Glad that kit continues to be reasonably available.

That is great. Well done!

Of course that scratch-built wood bed is outstanding but I also wanted to mention your toning of the green cab color. I really like what you've done there.

Oh Man !

Can you imagine driving that thing loaded in a rainstorm , the way the roads were at it's time ?  Beautiful Job Mr T . Plus , You've added markings for my favorite RailRoad !

You obviously put a great deal of time studying photos .The tinting and aging is awesome .  T.B.
